Behind the media and political rhetoric over Trump’s Department of Justice 31 count indictment is a little-known dirty little secret.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith as special counsel to investigate former President Trump over his possession of “classified” documents.

Here are 3 things you should know about him… and why Garland picked him. It’s a dirty little secret few know:

1) Garland selects Trump’s worst nightmare to destroy him

Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith as Special Counsel to target Trump regarding “classified” documents that the former president had stored in his Florida home.

Smith was appointed shortly after Trump announced his 2024 presidential campaign. His reputation is that he’s a vicious pit pull—once he grabs on, he fights to the end.

He’s ideologically driven and part of the Deep State machine. His investigation and indictment of Trump is not about justice or truth, it’s about punishing a political enemy of the state.

Already Smith has done bizarre and unethical things in the case involving intimidation, threats, and even flipping a Trump lawyer to testify against him, eliminating client/attorney privilege. It’s even strange that the indictment was issued on the same day information about Biden allegedly receiving a $5 million dollar bribe while he was Vice President was announced by the House investigation…

The House announcement was drowned out by the Trump indictment.

Garland ordered the now famous raid on Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago and found more than 100 documents marked “classified,” including several marked “Top Secret.”

During the investigation, Trump said:

“The Special Prosecutor, Jack Smith, is harassing, threatening, and terrorizing people who work for me, probably illegally, and totally at odds with the way Crooked Joe Biden is being treated, will no longer be known as the Special Prosecutor, but rather, the Special Persecutor.”

2) The Real Jack Smith: An Ideological Bulldog

Smith got his law degree from Harvard. In 1999, Smith joined the US Attorney’s Office, where he rose through the ranks of the bureaucratic political machine.

Smith’s questionable tactics and ethical standards started to surface in 2008.

For example, Smith worked with former IRS head Lois Lerner in targeting conservative, pro-life, and Christian non-profit organizations. Documents and testimony show that Smith had a meeting with Lerner to “discuss how the IRS could assist in the criminal enforcement of campaign-finance laws against politically active non-profits.”

Regarding targeting conservative non-profits, Smith wrote in an email, “This seems egregious to me… could we ever charge a [18 U.S.C. §] 371 conspiracy to violate laws of the USA for misuse of such non-profits to get around existing campaign finance laws + limits? I know 501s are legal, but if they are knowingly using them beyond what they are allowed to use them for (and we could prove that factually)? IRS Commissioner Sarah Ingram [sic] oversees these groups. Let’s discuss tomorrow, but maybe we should try to set up a meeting this week.”

A House Committee investigation found that Smith wanted to see if they could:

“…criminally enforce non-profit political speech, such as whether the IRS could review donor lists of 501(c)(4) organizations for potential violations of campaign-finance law. 804 Similarly, the IRS sought to “walk [the Justice Department] through the basic civil rules within [the IRS’s] jurisdiction and find out what if anything else they are looking for… These are not tax people so [Lerner] may also take [IRS employee] Joe Urban to clear perimeters about tax info should they want to do any 6103 fishing (as opposed to public record 6104 info).”

Lerner later resigned after being hammered in the press for her role in targeting conservative and Christian groups by denying or delaying their tax-exempt status (which had an impact on the 2008 election), but Smith kept targeting conservatives…

Smith also went after former Virginia conservative Gov. Bob McDonnell, but the conviction was overturned by a 9-0 decision by the Supreme Court. But this destroyed McDonnell campaign, life, and potential to run for President.

Smith also prosecuted Vice Presidential nominee John Edwards, who was a threat to established Democrats (because he was not a team player, challenging then Presidential candidate Barack Obama), but a jury acquitted him.

3) The Deep State Two-Tiered Justice System

Although Smith says, “he’s not political,” his wife, Katy Chevigny, is a Democrat contributor, including to President Joe Biden.

She also produced a documentary about former First Lady Michelle Obama.

There is definitely a bias against Conservatives and Republicans.

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik ripped into the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith for being a “compromised” member of President Joe Biden’s politicized Department of Justice.

“Joe Biden’s weaponized DOJ has launched an illegitimate special counsel to investigate his number one political opponent.”

The FBI/DOJ and the judicial system have been weaponized to go after its political enemies…and Trump is their #1 target!

But this goes beyond political parties. If they can go after a former president of the United States, they can go after anybody.

It’s not about holding Trump accountable to the law. It’s about targeting him and prosecuting him with the intent of destroying him.

No matter what your party affiliation, all Americans should be outraged at what they are doing to Trump, and at the complete weaponization of the government.

What is happening in our country today, reminds me of this quote about what happened in Germany during the rise of the Nazi party:
