Here are 6 very important things you probably haven’t heard but should know about.
- Gutfeld’s Late-Night Show Tops Cable Ratings, Surpasses ‘Daily Show’ By Wide Margin
Greg Gutfeld is funny – and super successful. His late-night program on Fox News has become the leading cable news among younger viewers.
But here is the big story. His program is outperforming the liberal ‘Daily Show.’
Gutfeld’s show has more than quadrupled the viewership of ‘The Daily Show.’
In the 25-54 age group. Gutfeld’s program doubled ‘The Daily Show’s’ average of only 146,000 viewers.
- Taxes At Work…
New York City spends, on average, $160 per hotel room to house illegal “newcomers.” Some hotels get over $300 per night. That’s just the room, not the food.
The city extended a contract with the Hotel Association of New York City for three years with a stunning $1.3 billion price tag.
- Harris Economic Deception.
Harris and the Democrat Marketing Machine claim we are better off than the socialist European nations. Here is a reality check:
- National debt in the U.K. increased to 104% of gross domestic product in 2024, up from 68% in 2019 and 43% in 2007.
- In France, the national debt rose to 112% of GDP from 97% in 2019 to 65% in 2007.
- The U.S.’s national debt has risen to 123% of GDP from 108% in 2019.
Bottomline: Socialism always fails. It never works.
- Chinese Spy Bases in Cuba: 90 Miles Away
What could they be doing? Here are just a few things:
- Spying on sensitive electronic communications from American Military bases
- Monitor space-launch facilities
- Closely monitor military and commercial shipping, even spy on U.S. citizens
This was publicly announced by the U.S. intelligence community for the first time. In addition, it said China is building a mega port on Peru’s Pacific coast.
- California Disappearing Tax Revenue: Two Guesses Why
California care is worse again. This state is #1 worst for decreasing tax revenue.
In fact, one of the major reasons California has a real deficit of about $80 billion is the plummeting of tax revenues – while the California radical socialists keep increasing government spending.
California had the weakest tax revenue of a negative 16.2%, followed by Minnesota (-4.9%), New York (-4.8%), and Connecticut (-4%) – all pro-social states.
18 of the 50 states reported falling tax revenue, with California falling the greatest.
- Biden’s Student Debt Relief
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania says:
Biden’s 2023 SAVE plan costs taxpayers $475 billion.
Biden’s hated student debt relief will cost taxpayers $84 billion – largely by ‘canceling” the student debt of some 750,000 households making more than $312,000 a year on average.
The average debt relief for these households is $25,500.
In June 2023, the Supreme Court struck down the Biden administration’s previous loan forgiveness program, which was implemented without congressional approval.
Those who never went to college, those whose parents or those who paid for college, and those who paid off all their loans are paying off the student loans of families who represent the top 5% of earners in the United States.
And we can’t afford it.
The national debt stands at nearly $35 trillion right now.
