Florida Mayor Francis Suarez has thrown his hat in the ring for the GOP nominee for President.
Suarez became the city’s first Miami-born mayor in 2017. Before that, he served on the board of commissioners. He currently practices law with Quinn Emmanuel LLP, an international law firm.
As Mayor, Suarez has championed the integration of climate adaptive policies, Web 3.0 technology, and a free-market approach to government.
“The first thing I’ll do if elected President is introduce an amendment to the Constitution to balance the federal government’s budget,” Suarez said.
“I think we have been playing with the people’s money in a way that is unsustainable and is going to create fiscal insanity.”
Suarez is the 3rd Florida GOP presidential candidate currently running alongside Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump.
The Miami Mayor is promoting his “Miami model” as the cure for the country to get us back on track. “My ‘Miami model’ cut taxes in Miami and created an economic boom for the city. We also increased the number of police, which decreased crime and bolstered the city’s economy,” he said.
He also pledged to secure the border, bring back American manufacturing jobs and tackle the national security threats posed by China.
