The political world was shocked when Tucker Carlson’s Fox program was abruptly canceled without notice.
Even Tucker was surprised.
Because of contracts and complicated legal situations, we may never know the truth behind Tucker’s departure from Fox News.
But what is the truth?
As you know, I’ve been a guest on multiple Fox News, and Fox Business News shows. Based on my contacts and sources, here are a few surprising facts you should know.
These 6 things should help put Tucker’s firing in perspective.
Here are 6 things you should know…
1) The biased media’s incorrect answer
Many have made up a lot of fiction, lies, and deceit about Tucker’s firing.
For example, the text and email messages from Tucker to his staff. If true, they make him look not too good on a personal level… But they are speculations and exaggerations.
The media is saying the firing is due to a lawsuit between Fox News and Dominion voting machines.
This is doubtful… and unlikely the case.
Dominion accused Tucker and other Fox News hosts of defamation by reporting stories regarding the rigging of the Dominion voting machines.
Fox News settled the lawsuit with Dominion for over $787.5 million.
If the lawsuit had proceeded, it would have forced Tucker and other Fox News Hosts to testify…
I think Fox would have won, but it would have been bloody, expensive, and horrible publicity.
2) The conservative media answers
There are several conservative media speculations on the firing. Here are a few:
- BlackRock, which Tucker has powerfully attacked, owns $1.5 billion of shares, making it the largest Fox shareholder. Fox produces an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report every year like many other corporations, and they want to look good in the corporate world. And BlackRock is pushing ESG! Tucker, at odds with ESG investing became a liability. However, despite the massive amount of shares BlackRock owns… as well as other investment companies… the Murdoch family has majority control due to the dual stock structure.
- Tucker has consistently attacked the most powerful people in the world—specifically the World Economic Forum.
- Tucker angers the Deep State by attacking government bureaucracies like the FBI, DOJ, and CIA. He has also opened up questions about January 6th, President Kennedy’s assassination, Epstein’s suspicious death, and the unresolved murder of the concert attendees in Las Vegas. If there’s one man the deep state hates, it’s Tucker Carlson.
- And because of Tucker’s attacks on U.S. involvement in Ukraine and military wokeness, the military, and the military-industrial complex are completely at odds with him.
- The radical left has made major attacks on Tucker to stop advertisers from placing ads on is program… And they’ve been successful (see our article: “Banning Fox News: 5 Things You Should Know”)
- His reporting on the Ukrainian/Biden/Hunter stories could have sparked his firing
- Tucker Carlson has never shied away from being controversial, but his departure from Fox News has met much opposition from the “respectable” corporate Deep State media about Ukraine and Hunter Biden stories.
- Fox News Owner’s sons (one of whom is CEO) wanted him out. This is probably true, but unlikely the real reason.
- It’s cleaning of the house of pro-Trump supporters… That may be true, but unlikely since they would have to fire a large majority of their on-air hosts.
But there is one more reason you may not have heard of…
3) The little-known moral and religious reasons.
Some say it’s a speech Tucker gave a few days before his firing.
The speech caused great anger toward Tucker.
Some felt he went too far….
Tucker has never been one who has been known as an Evangelical Christian. He calls himself an Episcopalian and has some sad commentary about his religious background and upbringing in the speech.
But recently, he’s had multiple guests on his show who proclaimed the good news of Jesus Christ. This was never the case in the past. His curiosity and focus on the Asbury Revival was surprising (see our article: “Spontaneous Revival: What You Should Know About The Amazing College Revival Inspiring the Nation”).
At the 50th anniversary of the Heritage Foundation, Tucker said, “The conflict is no longer about politics; it’s about the very moral foundations of civilization.”
He continued, “… The new ideological movements are based on old dark premises, and their motivations are solely to destroy what they can in order to take what they can.”
Many insiders say that his speech was too upsetting to the top executives at Fox. Interestingly Vanity Fair reported that Murdoch’s ex-fiancée, Ann Lesley Smith, had been discussing religion with Tucker and even had a prayer session together.
According to the Vanity Fair article, she called Tucker “a messenger from God.”
This allegedly upset Murdoch. He broke off his engagement to Smith days later….
Days after that, it was announced that Tucker was being booted from Fox… some Vanity sources say it was to spite Smith because Tucker’s show was Smith’s favorite.
What is true, I honestly don’t know.
But I think what Glenn Beck said is also interesting…
“When I was at Fox, I was told not to use the word ‘God’ on the air. They counted how many times I disobeyed. I don’t know if Tucker Carlson’s speech about God and prayer was the final straw, but I have a feeling it deeply bothered Rupert Murdoch.” Beck said on his radio show.
During the segment, Beck referred to the Vanity Fair article alleging that Carlson’s departure from Fox was less about the almost $800 million settlement with Domain Voting Systems and “more about Carlson’s religious talk.”

4) Is Fox purging its most Conservative, Libertarian, and Christian Hosts?
If Fox is going to purge conservatives, it’s obviously going to lose more viewers and subscribers to Fox Nation.
They did not renew their contract with Dan Bongino. Dan is a Libertarian Christian who was one of my favorite Fox hosts for being able to articulate freedom standing against the Deep State and injustice, and socialism.
We’ll just have to wait and see if anyone else is let go.
5) Who is rejoicing at Tucker’s firing?
A Lot of people are rejoicing that the nation’s most popular talkshow host is gone.
Carlson’s departure has the Deep State rejoicing.
Government bureaucracies from the FBI, DOJ, EPA, Department of Education, and the Department of Defense all have been elated by the removal.
Opposing media like CNN and MSNBC have also been dancing with joy and using this as an opportunity to attack Tucker’s ideas and past guests.
Left-wing celebrities like Rob Reiner, Jon Stewart Joy Behar, and Whoopie Goldberg have been celebrating Tucker’s “firing.”
Politicians like Congresswoman AOC and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have expressed their joy at Tucker’s departure from Fox News.
Even Pentagon officials are gloating over Tucker’s outing at Fox.
One said, “We’re a better country without him bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people.”
But some of the worst attacks came from the mainstream media.
6) What’s Next for Tucker?
We don’t know what’s next… But he will be back.
But I think it’s fair to say he will probably resurface on another network—indeed, many people are offering him to come to their network, like Newsmax.
Tucker was the top-rated host on network television.
Whether he goes off on his own or with someone else, Tucker will be back.
One clue came from Tucker’s recent YouTube video. In it he says, “One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country. Kind and decent people… people who really care about what’s true. And a bunch of hilarious people also. A lot of those. It’s gotta be the majority of the population, even now… So that’s heartening.”
Carson went on to say:
“The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on TV are. They’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them. Trust me, as someone who has participated… And then at the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all. War. Civil liberties. Emerging science. Demographic change. Corporate power. Natural resources. When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues? It’s been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media.
Both political parties, and their donors, have reached a consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conservative about it. Suddenly, the United States looks very much like a one-party state. That’s a depressing realization, but it’s not permanent. Our current orthodoxies won’t last. They’re brain-dead. Nobody actually believes them. Hardly anyone’s life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue. And so, it won’t.
Suddenly the United States looks very much like a one-party state. The people in charge know this—That’s why they’re hysterical and aggressive. They’re afraid. They’ve given up persuasion. They’re resorting to force… But it won’t work. When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars, who have been trying to silence them, shrink and they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe. True things prevail. Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left, but there are some. And that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon.”
See you soon… We will have to wait and see.
The Network will be rotating hosts to anchor the news coverage to replace Tucker Carlson.
Carlson was named to replace Bill O’Reilly when he was fired from Fox… He was hired immediately.
On the other hand, Jesse Waters (who started on O’Reilly’s show) got his show, after a year of guest hosting several other shows, before getting his show airing right before Tucker’s.
The harm to Fox News in the future is yet to be seen, but it should be a big boom to Newsmax and other alternative news sources.
Indeed, thousands of people have already canceled their subscription to Fox Nation, the subscription app.
The truth will probably never surface, but if it does, people will be quite interested in seeing what happened.
All we know is that Tucker Carlson is now free to do what he wants.
Within the last 12 months, he has done something he hasn’t done in the past, becoming very public by speaking at different events. This raises speculation that he may run for office… Maybe president? Or maybe he’s positioning himself to be Trump’s VP?

I think Tucker’s revealing of the Jan 6 tapes did it. the DNC wants to use Jan 6 to keep Trump down and out of the next election. when Tucker revealed the tapes ………he hurt their ability to do that. the Democrats are terrifically powerful and they have Soros money behind them. Even Murdoch has to bow down to them. I pray our world changes. For the better.
I truly believe that he was let go because of his Christian beliefs, which were plainly revealed in his speech where he stated the fact that people should pray. Sadly, this world does not want anything said or done that includes anything to do with GOD……especially Jesus Christ, repentance, salvation……TRUTH. We are in a battle and it is NOT political in nature……..it is a battle between good and evil. Tucker revealed TRUTH and those that don’t believe cannot handle it. Listen to Jonathan Cahn’s video on You Tube about it. Tucker will come out smelling like a rose from all this because he has God on his side and God is Sovereign and in control of ALL things. Good for you Tucker………..keep it up!!!
I pray that all truth will be revealed and FOX will have to sign off. Keep up the good work, Carlson.
Those who speak the truth are enemies of Satan. He spoke the truth once too often, and Satans friends wanted him silenced. Little do the know that that was a big mistake.
I believe Tucker was fired because he cannot be controlled. Same with Trump. Both men spoke Truth to power and Power does not tolerate that which might diminish their power.
