It may seem like a miracle.

Private companies and researchers have quickly been developing both vaccinations and cures for the Coronavirus.

And the FDA is getting out of the way – it’s the number one stumbling block to innovation of new cures.

Watch this short video on some of the successes.

My Washington contacts tell me the speed of development of a multitude of new cures will shock and please everyone except the biased media … which is wanting the fear to continue.

  1. That is great and all but with a healthy and active 31 year old who doesn’t drink, smoke, and has a bodybuilder build with hardly any fat and goes to great lengths to eat clean and get plenty of exercise and rest I won’t need to take any drugs. This is for someone who is the complete opposite of me. Most of the people who are getting affected by this virus are people who are out of shape, really old, and/or smokes. The LAMEstream media continues to instill fear on everyone about this virus and causing everyone to be hysterical. It is the fear behind the virus, lack of common sense, and the idiots who are “Panic Shopping” – which does not give the elderly people to buy the tfood they need- that are the REAL epidemic in this country.

I want to respond to an excellent piece written by the Christian Evangelical leader Craig Huey with a Biblical-Constitutional perspective.

The piece is titled—“Prayer? Oh No! 4 Things You Should Know About “Prayer Shaming” [Coronavirus].

I believe as Mr. Huey argues, there are two opposing world views that are at war with each other in America these last days, Progressivism, vs America’s Founding Principles. Progressivism represents a radical departure—or “turning away”—from the Founders’ understanding of the purpose and ends of Government expressed in Romans 13:1-7, NLT:

        1. “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
        2. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished…”

It is by the American People’s rejection of the Founders’ ideas of Natural Law being Immutable, all men being created equal, representative government being limited, and three separate branches of power being equally subject to the same United States Constitution; that progressive factions exemplified by an invasion of the modern administrative state, have fundamentally transformed key aspects of our American way of life.

Near the end of the nineteenth century, Progressive political theorists began to view the principles of the American Founding as archaic and obstructive. They argued that the modern age brought with it new problems, which required new principles, as well as a move away from the republicanism of the Founding to a state ruled by administrative experts. Progressivism came to dominate American politics in the 20th century, and remains a powerful political force today—as taught by Dr. Larry Arnn, President of Hillsdale College.

Now, as we battle this latest coronavirus plague that is making its way through our Nation, Democrats, and sadly some Republicans, are pushing for a full takeover by the central government.

On Sunday, March 16, 2020, MSNBC anchor George Stephanopoulos teed up with the progressive-socialist Governor Andrew Cuomo, to tout his plan to allow the federal Government to step in and control everything.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, another radical progressive, also fear mongered over why we need to follow other countries and “NATIONALIZE” everything to combat the virus’s spread. And Monday on ABC’s Good Morning America of course, the news network let New York Governor Andrew Cuomo push forward the same argument.

“This federal government has to get more engaged, said Stephanopoulos. There’s been no country that has handled this that has not nationalized it.”

Evangelical leader Craig Huey said it this way:
“This is really a clash of world views.
The “politically correct” secular world view laughs at prayer.
It believes that science, the intellect, technology… and money… can solve all problems — and that government is the key to all problem solving.
The attacks on prayer and faith are attacks on the unseen.
But the idea that the state – collectivism – can solve every problem is misplaced “faith” in broken, sinful man.
History is full of the failures of mankind. Climate change. Gun violence. And, yes, Coronavirus. All these—the progressives would say—supposedly can be solved by more government passing the right laws and controlling people’s lives by bureaucratic and corrupt policies.
The secular-world view says that salvation from Coronavirus will come from the government or from man’s efforts apart from God.
A Christian world view would put prayer and God first, without excluding science, reason, or man’s actions.” Mr. Huey is right!

And what America need right now is another “revolution in our Principles, opinions, and manners,” as Dr. Benjamin Rush—a signer of the Declaration of Independence, so eloquently stated—so as to assimilate them into the Form of Government that our forefathers have outlined and adopted in the Declaration of Independence.

In his Speech at Peoria on October 16, 1854, Abraham Lincoln revealed to the American generation of his time, a plan to defeat slavery by “following the ways of the LORD as their ancestors did,” (Judges2:22).

His vision was to once again “secure the Blessings of Liberty” that the Founder’s envisioned in 1776:

“Let us re-adopt the Declaration of Independence, and with it, the practices, and policy, which harmonize with it. Let north and south — let all Americans — let all lovers of liberty everywhere — join in the great and good work. If we do this, we shall not only have saved the Union; but we shall have so saved it, as to make, and to keep it, forever worthy of the saving. We shall have so saved it, that the succeeding millions of free happy people, the world over, shall rise up, and call us BLESSED, to the latest generations.”

        * Source—Abraham Lincoln Quotations on Liberty and National Defense.

The Scriptures teach us in Judges chapters 2-3, that: “because the people had violated HIS covenant, which HE made with their ancestors, and have ignored HIS commands—the LORD left” [enemies] “in the land to test those Israelites who had not experienced the wars of Canaan.
He did this to teach warfare to generations of Israelites who had no experience in battle.”

The warfare that we are engaged in today implies a struggle between our faith and our fears. And the weapons of our warfare according to 2Corinthians10:3-6, NLT, “are mighty through God—not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.
        5. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.”
And here’s the icing on the cake in verse 6, “after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.”

In war there are almost always casualties. Some people will fall. But “the LORD knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment,” (2Peter2:9).

And even if the righteous should fall prematurely in battle, it is “the dead in Christ who shall arise first, WHEN THE VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL AND THE TRUMPET CALL OF GOD SOUNDS,” (1Thessalonians4:16, NIV).

For “they have defeated him [satan the accuser of believers] by the BLOOD of the Lamb and by THE WORD of their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die,” (Revelation12:11).

And remember, it was “the blood on the doorposts during the LORD’S PASSOVER that served as a sign of their obedience by marking the houses where believers were staying. For when The LORD saw the blood HE passed over them as HE moved through the land of Egypt to avert the plague of death so that it would not touch them, (Exodus12:13).

Finally, in an 1818 letter to the publisher, Hezekial Niles, John Adams perceptively noted the role of ideas in the formation of the American revolutionary determination:

But what do we mean by THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION? Do we mean the American War? The Revolution was effected before the War commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people, A CHANGE IN THEIR RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS OF THEIR DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS. While the king, and all in authority under him, were believed to govern in justice and mercy according to the laws and constitution derived to them from the God of nature, and transmitted to them by their ancestors, they thought themselves bound to pray for the king and queen and all the royal family, and all in authority under them, as ministers ordained of God for their good. But when they saw those powers renouncing all the principles of authority, and bent upon the destruction of all the securities of their lives, liberties, and properties, they thought it their duty to PRAY for the Continental Congress and all the thirteen state congresses…

These are what are called Revolution-Principles. They are the Principles of Aristotle and Plato, of Livy and Cicero, of Sydney, Harrington and Lock.—The Principles of Nature and Eternal Reason. The principles on which the whole government over us, now stands. It is therefore astonishing, if any thing can be so, that writers, who call themselves friends of government, should in this age and country, be so inconsistent with themselves, so indiscreet, so immodest, as to insinuate a doubt concerning them.”

Therefore, following the advice of the apostle Paul in 2Timothy2:1-3, NLT—
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
2Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
3This is good and pleases God our Savior,
4who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.”

  2. This is great new for those who are really sick. Hopefully we can get through this quickly and safely. I sincerely pray for that. I also pray and hope all the stay at home orders will be lifted at the proper time and the economy will recover.
