Washington D.C.
I’ve been to this special place a dozen times.
This museum showcases rare and fascinating artifacts spanning 3,500 years of history… providing an immersive and personalized experience with the Bible and its ongoing impact around the world.
Cutting-edge technology is used to bring the Bible to life… and to show how the Bible and its impact span time, space and cultures.
It’s really an amazing place… they even have professional plays in their theaters. My wife recently saw a C.S. Lewis play.
It’s located just 3 blocks from the U.S. Capitol.

- Dollywood
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
What a surprise in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in America. It’s for kids 5 and up, with kid rides, teen/adult rides and lots of live music.
And it’s very Dolly Parton. And because of this, she will often have Christian music day – which I’ve been to – and special movie presentation starring Dolly, that is not just Christ centered, but evangelical.
- The Met Cloisters
New York, NY
This is a hidden gem. More for adults than children. Maybe kids 16 and up might appreciate it.
It is a museum of European art and history… a lot of incredible, Christian themed art and artifacts. All these treasures are housed in an old, spectacular monastery.

- Victims of Communism Museum
My wife, one of our kids, and I traveled to Washington, DC, to visit the Victims of Communism Museum…
It was an experience we’ll never forget.
The museum opened in 2022, and it’s probably the best presentation on the horrors of communism and socialism I’ve ever seen.
The museum commemorates the more than 100 million people killed by communism around the world and the horror for those still living under totalitarian regimes.
The museum is so big it would take 6 to 8 hours to see everything and get the full history of why communism and socialism is so bad and why it doesn’t work.
Children from 11 and up should visit the museum, especially high school and college kids.
It’s the best way to understand why communism is so evil, why socialism is so dangerous and why we should never let it happen in our country.

- SkyPark at Santa’s Village
Skyforest, California
This is not a Biblical experience. But it’s fun!
This is a North Pole-themed outdoor adventure park located in the Lake Arrowhead area of the San Bernardino National Forest in southern California.
