As we enter this Christmas Season, business owners, corporate leaders, and government officials are informing their employees and the public to avoid saying “Merry Christmas.”
But we should not be afraid to say and to sing “Merry Christmas”.
That’s what the season is all about. Jesus Christ is the reason for the season.
In fact, for people of faith, it’s a time to spread the joy of the historic birth of Jesus Christ.
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”
On the night of Jesus’ birth, the angel declared this bold pronouncement to a people who needed hope, peace, love … and joy!
