The Deep State refers to the ideological bureaucrats working independently of legislation, job descriptions, or the president’s agenda. It’s based on their own ideological beliefs with the desire to transform our culture, politics, and economics.
This “shadow government,” also known as the “Administrative State,” operates within all government bureaucracies and has significant influence without public accountability.
The Deep State has been within the federal government since our government was created, but under the Obama administration, it took on a radical, secular, socialist ideology in order to “fundamentally transform” America.
By embedding these ideological actors deeply into the bureaucratic infrastructure, Obama fortified the foundations of the Deep State, which created internal “resistance” to the first Trump administration’s policies.
It was during Trump’s first term in office that the Deep State was on steroids in its “resistance movement” that tried to stop, derail, destroy, and postpone any type of Trump legislation. Leaks occurred, sabotaged and destroyed programs… it was outright war.
President Trump’s #1 mandate to the American people is to “drain the swamp” and dismantle the Deep State in his second term.
Here are 9 steps President Trump has offered to dismantle the “deep state:
1.) Remove Rogue Ideological Bureaucrats: Trump will reinstate his 2020 Executive Order that gave him the authority to remove rogue bureaucrats, ensuring greater executive control over federal agencies. However, Biden repealed Trump’s 2020 Executive Order. President Trump’s original 2020 executive order, titled Executive Order on Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service, was created to remove rogue bureaucrats embedded within federal agencies who obstructed his administration’s agenda. The order created a new classification—Schedule F—for federal employees in policymaking or confidential positions, removing them from traditional civil service protections. This reform intended to make it easier to fire government employees who resisted directives, politicized their roles, or worked against the president’s agenda. By restoring accountability, the order sought to curb the influence of unaccountable “deep state” actors and ensure that the federal workforce aligned with the elected administration’s policies.
2.) Clean Out Corrupt Actors in National Security: Launch a full-scale removal of corrupt officials in agencies like the FBI, CIA, NSA, and others to restore integrity and security focus.
3.) Reform the FISA Court: Restructure the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Court to prevent misuse and end politically driven surveillance.
4.) Expose Hoaxes and Abuses of Power: Establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to declassify and publish all documents related to “deep state” spying activities, shedding light on abuses of power.
5.) Crackdown on Government Leakers: Target and prosecute individuals who leak sensitive information to the mainstream media to undermine the administration and our republic.
6.) Make Inspector General Offices Independent: Separate Inspectors General from the departments they oversee, ensuring they don’t protect entrenched deep-state players; establish an independent auditing system to monitor intelligence agencies and prevent disinformation campaigns and surveillance of American citizens.
7.) Move Parts of the Federal Bureaucracy Out of Washington, D.C.: Relocate certain federal agency operations away from D.C. to reduce “swamp” influence and increase accountability.
8.) Ban Bureaucrats from Private Sector Jobs in Regulated Industries: Prohibit federal bureaucrats from taking jobs in industries they previously regulated, aiming to end conflicts of interest and revolving-door corruption.
9.) Push for Congressional Term Limits: Advocate for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress, reducing career politicians’ hold on power.
Trump’s plan to dismantle the “deep state” centers on reducing bureaucratic power, restoring executive authority, and prioritizing constitutional accountability.
By removing entrenched officials, instituting independent oversight, relocating agency functions, and limiting Congress’s power, his agenda aims to permanently curb “deep state” influence and restore government to serve American citizens.
The bureaucrats will not go away quietly.
They will cling to their power.
They want to destroy anything Trump does in the next 4 years.
