Zohran Mamdani is a 33-year-old New York assemblyman.
He’s young.

And he’s dangerous.
Born in Uganda to Indian parents, Mamdani came to America as a child and became a naturalized U.S. citizen at the age of 18..
Now, he’s running New York’s most extreme leftist campaign ever — and he just beat former Governor Andrew Cuomo and two other candidates in the New York City Mayoral Democratic Primary.
Yes, Cuomo — a political dynasty name — lost to a man who openly supports socialism and antisemitic activists.
Mamdani could soon become the most powerful mayor in America.
- Zohran Mamdani is no Friend of Israel
Mamdani has vowed that as mayor of New York, he would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he were to ever come to New York City.[1]
Canary Mission, a watchdog group that tracks antisemitism, reports that Mamdani regularly attends New York City’s anti-Israel protests.[2]
Although he recently told Late Night host Stephen Colbert that he believes Israel has a right to exist, Mamdani is a strong advocate of Palestinian rights.
He joined protests against Israel after the Hamas terror attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed 1200 innocent Israelis.
- The Media’s Reaction: Like Two Opposite Americas.
The left-wing press celebrated Mamdani’s win like it was the Super Bowl.
The right?
They were caught flat-footed.
But they shouldn’t have been.
This is the result of years of organizing by far-left groups and a media that silences truth while elevating radicals.
It’s also a warning.
The socialist movement is more organized, energized, and media-backed than ever before.

Zohran Mamdani’s socialist policies are straight out of Cuba and Venezuela. He favors:
- Government-run grocery stores
- “Free rent” programs funded by taxpayers
- Extreme rent control that chokes small landlords

- New taxes on businesses and investors
- Defund the police with “community patrols”
- Full-scale wealth redistribution
He also wants to raise the minimum wage in New York City to $30 per hour.[3]
It’s not just socialist.

Zohran didn’t win because New Yorkers love socialism.
He won because he outmaneuvered his opponents using cutting-edge digital get-out-the-vote tactics.

- Tik-Tok influencers
- Youth-driven ballot harvesting
He didn’t win the argument — he won the voter turnout game.

On a hopeful note, it’s not yet a done deal that Zohran Mamdani will become the next mayor of New York City.
Although there’s no chance the Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa could win in November, the current New York City Mayor Eric Adams will be running for reelection.
And it’s possible that former mayor Andrew Cuomo – who was defeated by Mamdani in the primary – could enter the race as an Independent candidate.
