Ronald Reagan’s speeches and debates are as relevant today, as they were over fifty years ago.

Below are my top 10 short quotes.

When I was in high school, I saw Ronald Reagan give a speech in favor of Barry Goldwater that was incredibly impactful.

I actually got a recording of the talk and played it over and over. You can hear it below.

Sometime later, I saw Ronald Reagan do an infomercial in early 1966, announcing he was running for governor of the state of California.

Again, it was powerful, a defense of freedom and a vision for the future.

When I heard that Ronald Reagan was going to be in a shopping center about ten miles from my house, I begged my dad to take me. After a lot of begging, he did, and I was able to get up close to Ronald Reagan. He signed a sign for me and took the time to talk.

Look at some of my favorite quotes from him. I think you can see why he was so effective and relevant even today.

Here are my top ten Ronald Reagan quotes. I invite you to read them, and if you have any other quotes you like, please share them with me.

Incidentally, the photo above this post includes some of the books by Ronald Reagan that I have in my library.
