Gender/Sex Education Indoctrination Exposed: K-12 Public School Horror Story – 6 Things You Should Know about What Children Are Being Taught

Huey ReportArtificial Intelligence, California, Children, Schools, Sex Education

Key Takeaways:

  • Many public schools across the U.S. are pushing an extremely graphic and explicit K-12 sex-education curriculum on millions of kids beginning in kindergarten.
  • The curriculum is called “3Rs: Rights, Respect, and Responsibility.”
  • Kindergarteners must learn to identify human genitalia from graphic depictions of naked children; first-graders are taught about how reproduction happens.
  • In third and fourth grade, children learn about LGBT terminology, and in fifth grade kids are told it’s ok to be attracted to “all genders.”
  • Sixth-graders are told to do their own sex education research online.
  • The complete K-12 sex education curriculum comes from Advocates for Youth, and is downloadable for free on the internet.
  • More than 500 school districts in 13 states are currently using the 3Rs curriculum.
  • California – one of the states using the 3Rs curriculum – has declined from having the best public school system in the country in the 1950s and ‘60s to one of the worst today.
  • The solution to exposing your kids to inappropriate sex education – and to woke ideologies such as critical race theory and DEI – is to exercise school choice and find a school and a curriculum that agrees with your values and meets your children’s needs.

The traditional 3Rs are taking a back seat to indoctrination about gender identity in many of the nation’s public schools – from kids 5years old and up.

They’ve been pushing an extremely graphic sex-education curriculum on millions of kids across the country.

It’s been part of the curriculum in California since 2011.[1]

It starts in kindergarten – even in pre-K in some schools.[2]

And it goes all the way through high school.

Lessons use more explicit and radical material each year.

You don’t have to have kids in school to find this disturbing.

Every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, and American adult should be concerned about this.

Ironically, the curriculum is called 3Rs: Rights, Respect, and Responsibility.

Just take a look at what this curriculum is teaching kids in each grade…

Here are 6 things you should know:

1. Sex-ed in kindergarten and elementary school.

In kindergarten, kids are exposed to graphic depictions of naked children.

They must learn to identify human genitalia.

In first grade, they learn about reproduction.

They fill out a worksheet called “Can This Make Babies?”

In second grade, the graphic material gets even more explicit.

Kids must look at zoomed-in depictions of male and female genitals.

Teachers remind them: “There are some body parts that mostly just girls have, and some parts that mostly just boys have.”

Mostly?

This part of the curriculum is a tool to introduce sexual confusion in second-graders… preparing them for sexual indoctrination in the next grade.

In third and fourth grades, the children learn about LGBT subjects and puberty…

And in fifth grade, they’re told they can “have feelings for people of all genders.”

2. Middle school and high school sex indoctrination.

Things take a turn in middle school.

Gender is taught as a social construct… and as an identity spectrum:[3]

Sixth graders are instructed to become “sex-ed sleuths” who research sexual education—online and unsupervised.

  1. Seventh and eighth graders learn about gender identity. They grade how “LGBTQ-inclusive” their school is.
  2. In high school, students are inundated with more gender-ideology lessons. The words “girl” and “woman” are replaced by the phrase, “someone with a vul*a.”

Many parents are not even aware of what their kids are being exposed to.

3. Advocates for Youth – the activist group behind the curriculum.

Advocates for Youth makes its K-12 sex education curriculum downloadable for free on the internet.

The organization actively markets it to more school districts every year.

More than 500 school districts across 13 states have currently adapted the curriculum for use.[4]

Here is a partial list:

  • California
  • Colorado
  • Georgia
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Oregon
  • South Carolina

Consult your local school district to find out if the 3Rs sex-ed curriculum is being used in your school.

Advocates for Youth doesn’t publish a list of all 13 states and school districts using its curriculum.

The mission statement of Advocates for Youth reads:

“Advocates for Youth partners with young people and their adult allies to champion youth rights to bodily autonomy and build power to transform policies, programs and systems to secure sexual health and equity for all youth.”[5]

Read that again and think about the meaning of:

  • The right to bodily autonomy
  • Securing sexual health for all youth

Then consider this statement, which is underneath the mission statement:

“Young people understand that reproductive and sexual health and rights are inextricably tied to social justice and the fight for liberation.”[6]

Notice the buzz words:

  • “reproductive rights and sexual health”
  • “social justice”
  • “fight for liberation”

What is Advocates for Youth encouraging young people to fight for liberation from? Parents? God? Biblical morality?

4. California schools – from the best to one of the worst states in overall education.

WalletHub recently identified the most and the least educated cities in America – comparing the 150 largest metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) across 11 key educational metrics.[7]

California has two cities listed in the top 10 due to their location in the Silicon Valley area:

  • San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara – #3
  • San Francisco – #6

San Diego also scored in the top 25 at #22.

But California also has 6 of the 10 worst-educated cities in America:

  • Stockton – #143
  • Fresno – #144
  • Salinas – #145
  • Modesto – #146
  • Bakersfield – #147
  • Visalia – #150
[As a side note, Ann Arbor, Michigan ranked #1 as the best educated metropolitan area in the country.

It has the best public school system, it ranks 9th in the quality of its universities, and it only has a 1.8% difference between the number of men and women who have at least a bachelor’s degree.][8]

In the 1950s and ‘60s, California had the undisputed best public school system in the nation.[9]

By 2021, California ranked 45th in math test scores and 39th in reading test scores out of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.[10]

Public schools in California also have these current distinctions:

  • One of the highest high school dropout rates in the country
  • One of the highest classroom student-teacher ratios in the nation
  • The highest percentage of high school students who report being threatened or injured with a weapon at school[11]

What happened?

Probable causes for the decline abound, but among them are:

  • Critical Race Theory brought into every subject: the notion that the America was founded on white supremacy and oppression, and that these forces still exist and are still at the core of American society.
  • The hard-Left ideology being taught in university schools of education that train California teachers.
  • Legislation ending the high school exit exam in 2017.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) topics added to the curriculum.

Most California public school teachers are not teaching kids how to think; their teaching kids what to think.

They’re not teaching; they’re indoctrinating.

5. It’s not just California schools that are in decline.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) test results are the “Nation’s Report Card” comparing public school student performance.

The NAEP tests 4th and 8th graders in math and reading every two years.

Massachusetts has the highest test scores in the nation.[12]

New Mexico has the lowest.

Here are the states with top 5 student performance rankings:

  • Massachusetts
  • New Jersey
  • New Hampshire
  • Utah
  • Wyoming

Here are the bottom 5 states:

  • Delaware
  • Oklahoma
  • West Virginia
  • Alaska
  • New Mexico

Internationally, U.S. public schools have reason to be concerned when compared to students in other developed countries.[13]

While we should be #1in education and student performance, we are just slightly above average among developed nations in reading and science…and well below average in math.[14]

Top performing nations are Singapore, China, Japan and Korea.

In math, the U.S. ranks 16th out of 24 peer nations tested by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).[15]

6. School Choice is the solution to woke public school curriculum.

Parents have the God-given right and responsibility to direct the upbringing and the education of their children.

This includes making decisions about their healthcare, the timing and the content of their sexual education, and their general well-being.

These rights do not belong to activist organizations, government officials, or anyone else.

Yet Advocates for Youth is taking over these parental rights.

Their graphic and woke sex-education curriculum doesn’t belong in schools – especially without parental notification and consent.

The solution for parents is to pull their kids out of public schools and either homeschool them or put them in an alternate school that will better meet their children’s needs.

In 2019, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation creating Family Empowerment Scholarships – funds that can be used by low-income and middle-class families to pay for tuition at private schools.[16]

In the same year, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed legislation that gave school boards new rationales to disapprove proposed charter schools.

The goal – and the end result – was to curtail the growth of alternate education options to the failing public schools.

Lance Izumi, the Senior Director of the Center for Education at the Pacific Research Institute noted:

“While Governor Gavin Newsom kowtowed to the teacher unions, Governor DeSantis signed the FES bill into law saying, ‘I personally believe, as a matter of philosophy, that parents know what’s best for their kids.’”[17]

A: California once had the best public-school system in the nation in the 1950s and 1960s. By 2021 it ranked near the bottom nationally in math (45th) and reading (39th). It also has high dropout rates, high student-teacher ratios, and the highest percentage of high-school students reporting being threatened or injured with a weapon at school.

Q: Why have California’s public schools declined so much?
A: Part of the decline is due to the introduction of critical race theory, DEI concepts, teacher-training ideologies, and the elimination of the high-school exit exam.

Q: What is the solution to inappropriate sex education and woke indoctrination in public schools?
A: Parents should exercise school choice—homeschooling or enrolling children in private or alternative schools whose values and curriculum align with their own.
