Title: Another Presidential Contender: Larry Elder Throws His Hat in the Ring—Adds His Name to the Growing List of GOP Candidates [VIDEO] Presidential Profile:

(Editor’s note: This is part of our continuing series for the presidential candidates for the 2024 election.)

Larry Elder is an American libertarian talk radio host, author, attorney, and documentary filmmaker who hosts The Larry Elder Show. The show began as a local program on Los Angeles radio station KABC in 1993 and is now nationally syndicated.

After years of talking about the mismanagement and corruption in California, Elder decided to put his money where his mouth was and run for Governor of California in 2021, securing millions of votes and coming close to outing Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom.

Larry says he’s now ready for the next step in his journey– running for President of the United States.

“I don’t know what’s going right in our country,” said Elder.

That’s why Libertarian radio host Larry Elder has added his name to the list of Republicans running for president in 2024.

Elder said when asked why he was running, “America is in decline, but this decline is not inevitable. We can enter a new American Golden Age, but we must choose a leader who can bring us there. That’s why I’m running for President.”

Elder has already attracted several big-name donors and has made trips to Iowa and New Hampshire, two important launching points for getting a presidential nomination.

As for what he stands for, Elder says, “The top issues in the 2024 election are inflation, energy, and border security.”

He’s also made the plight of children in America being born to parents who are not married part of his platform, as well as to rebut “the lies about systemic racism.”

“My father was a WWII vet. He served in Guam. He was a Marine… My late older brother was in the Navy during the Vietnam War, and my other brother served in the army. I’m the only one that didn’t serve… I feel I have a moral, religious, and a patriotic duty to give back to a country that’s been so good to me and my family,” Elder said.

Elder also addressed the debt ceiling, explaining that the parties don’t want to restrain spending because that’s how politicians get elected—”They promise to give us things… not take them away.”

“Half of our budget goes to entitlement programs… If we don’t touch entitlement programs, we can still cut a lot,” said Elder.

To fix the overspending, Elder proposes a Constitutional amendment to “fix spending to a proportion of GDP.”

  1. I really like Larry Elder always have. I voted for him and would vote again for him. he is intelligent, dependable, conservative with good values. I heard that he could stand in stead of Trump in his place for the debates. Don’t know if he can but what a great candidate he would make.

  2. yes, Larry’s politics are spot on, but where is the more vital call for a humble, nation-wide return to Almighty God on a given day, as did Lincoln and other Presidents, which will bring forth Bible-based miracles when Almighty God is focused on by us millions. May Larry have the courage to say something like —“let’s put in to practice ‘in God we trust’. We have a spiritual war on our hands, not just a political battle.

  3. Larry’s a great Patriot and would be a good president.
Larry has spent years discussing and debating the issues of today
Larry should do well in any debate as he is well versed and very articulate
So let the best strong conservative Republican win the day and save our country from the dismal condition that the Democrats and RINO’s have caused
