Grammy viewers were shocked to see their star performers pay tribute to the Prince of Darkness, Satan, at this year’s Grammy Awards.
Here are 5 things you should know:
1. It was a purposeful attack on Christians
Sam Smith, who identifies as non-binary, and Kim Petras, who is transgender, used the national broadcast to send a message to the 12.4 million viewers that “since religion doesn’t want them, they don’t want religion.”
The duo performed their Grammy-winning hit song, donned in red outfits, adorned with devil horns on their heads, while scantily clad dancers gyrated sexually around as flames flickered behind them—It was like a scene out of Dante’s Inferno.
Viewers immediately took to Twitter, describing the Satanic tribute as “vial,” “pure trash,” “sick,” and “blasphemous.”
Another added: “You don’t have to be super religious to be disturbed by that Sam Smith devil-worshiping performance.”
2. This satanic worship song was Proudly Sponsored by Pfizer
There was a time when American companies cared about their image and did not want to support anything that would be inappropriate or trash traditional family values.
Today companies have done a complete 180 and now it seems anything goes… the more woke and perverse, the better.
It was perfectly okay for Pizer to pay for an act that would offend Christians and was a purposeful attack on Christians.
3. Madonna, introduced the Satanic duo
Madonna, no stranger to pushing the envelope of good taste, was ecstatic to introduce the duo—It was a perfect fit.
As Petras received her award, she gave an emotional speech, thanking Madonna as an LGBTQ+ advocate.
4. First Lady Jill Biden was a proud presenter at the event
Apparently, First Lady Jill Biden didn’t have any issue with the Satanic performance of the evening—She even gave out 2 awards; one for new ‘Best Song for Social Change’ award to Iranian singer Shervin Hajipour, whose song ‘Baraye’ is described as the anthem of the Mahsa Amini protests, and the Song of the Year to Bonnie Raitt.
She undoubtedly had to know that there would be a performance by the Satanic duo and that it would upset millions of Christians. As First Lady of the United States, she should have had the good sense and grace to bow out of the show.
5. Kim Petras explains why they sang their Satanic song “Unholy” on the Grammys
Using Satan in music goes back to the 1970s.
And for the Grammy’s, occult imagery was also used by Katie Perry in 2014 and Beyonce in 2017.
But Kim had a purpose for the Satanic presentation as a message to the church.
Kim Petras, whose birth name was Tim, before taking hormone shots at 12, had his/her transgender surgery 4 years later.
She explained that the reason she and Smith sang such a disturbing song was to “get back” at Christians.
Petras said it [the song] “was inspired by not feeling accepted by religion.”
“I think a lot of people, honestly, have kind of labeled what I stand for and what Sam stands for as religiously not cool, and I personally grew up wondering about religion and wanting to be a part of it but slowly realizing it didn’t want me to be a part of it, so, it’s a take on not being able to choose religion. And not being able to live the way that people might want you to live because as a trans person, I’m already not kind of wanted in religion. So, we were doing a take on that, and I was kind of hell-keeper Kim,” Petras said.
What a sad explanation to justify alienating Christian viewers by staging such a destructive and disturbing performance.
Jesus has open arms for everyone, including Kim and Sam.They need to accept Christ’s forgiveness, acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, repent of their past, and accept His free gift of mercy and grace.
It doesn’t matter if you are gay or transgender or part of the LGBTQ+ community. Jesus doesn’t turn anyone away who does not turn him away.
I know transgenders, homosexuals, and lesbians who have been transformed by the power of The Holy Spirit and living changed lives.
However, that doesn’t mean Christians will deny the truth that marriage is between a man and a woman, and that God created both male and female.
But Christianity is about Christ forgiving sin… It’s about being saved from the chains of sin… it’s for people who have fallen short of what God would want of them.
Even those who are angry at God or rebellious against the Bible’s teachings on forgiveness of sin and being led to repentance through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christianity doesn’t demand you change on your own because it’s God’s promise that He will take care of all those who believe by the power of the Holy Spirit—that he will take everyone as they are and help them be translated from the Kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of His son.
Christians can love Kim and Sam with the love of their Lord and not compromise on the difference between sin and truth.
Love does not mean acceptance of falsehood or sin.
Attacks on Christians like this and the distortion of what Christianity is will continue to get worse until a revival takes place here in America.
Two things:
1. Let’s pray for Sam and Kim that God’s truth and love will change their hearts and minds.
Sin is not welcome in God’s kingdom, but Kim and Sam and anyone who calls upon his name are.
2. Pray for those who have been subjected to watching it, which has opened the door to mocking the demonic when it’s actually real.
That’s how the demonic positions itself as an Angel of light.
Pray for all who were not shocked or disgusted by the performance.

That performance and madonna’s speech and new puffy face, and jill biden’s support and Pfizer …….altogether show the world why conservative america is against these things. It was a disgusting performance – had no social value in fact was a “negative” social value and I for one will never watch the Grammy’s again!
