Two Assassination Attempts on Trump: Secret Service Says It Needs More Taxpayer Money to Protect President and Candidates… But Spend Millions to Send Agents to LGBTQ Conference—5 Shocking Things You Should Know

Another Assassination attempt?

Another incomprehensible failure of the Secret Service?

You can’t make this up.

Here are 5 shocking things you should know…

1.) The first assassination attempt exposed the failure of the bureaucracy

The most important job of the Secret Service is to protect the President of the United States against physical threats, as well as former presidents and major presidential candidates.

The Secret Service failed miserably on July 13th when an assassin’s bullet almost killed former President Donald Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Within a week of Trump being shot, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle appeared before the House Oversight Committee.

During the committee hearing, Cheatle testified that the agency is understaffed and underfunded.

“As of today, the Secret Service has just over 8,000 employees. We are still striving toward approximately 9,500 employees to be able to meet future and emerging needs,” Cheatle said.

According to a report by NBC News, “the number of agents in Protective Operations—those directly tasked with protecting officials like the president—fell from 4,027 to 3,671 in the last decade, resulting in chronic understaffing. At the same time, the number of people Protective Operations had to protect grew, and its potential threats became more diverse.”

When the Washington Post exposed that the Secret Service had denied the Trump campaign’s multiple requests for extra security, Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service’s chief of communications, posted on X that the report was “absolutely false” and “an untrue assertion.” However, when pressed by the House Committee, he admitted that the agency had, in fact, turned down campaign requests, including RFK Jr’s requests.

But why?

Was it due to lack of funds to hire more agents?

According to research by the Cato Institute, the Secret Service’s budget has grown from $2.34 billion in 2014 to $3.62 billion in 2024—that’s a 55% increase.

If you adjust the numbers for inflation, the agency’s “spending increased from $0.75 billion in 1990 to an estimated $3.26 billion in 2021. Secret Service civilian employment increased from 5,760 in 2002 to 7,669 in 2019, which is a 33% jump,” according to the study.

“They [the Secret Service] have thousands of employees. There aren’t that many people that require Secret Service protection. There aren’t that many events that the Secret Service has to secure. So, the budget is more than enough to provide adequate protection for the presidential candidates,” said Rep. James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee.

2.) Another Attempt on Trump’s life… and more excuses… Another bureaucratic failure

As the Secret Service continues to come under scrutiny, you would think that they would have tighter security measures in place for President Trump… especially since there was an attempt on his life.

But not this bureaucracy…

While Trump was playing golf, another would-be assassin managed to park his car near the outside of the golf course and wait for Trump for over 12 hours without any agents red-flagging the car as suspicious or seeing a man with an illegal AK-47 staked out in the bushes. Why weren’t agents looking at the street or the trees?

And like the first attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, the Secret Service didn’t use dogs or air drones to surveil the area, and again, it was understaffed. However, despite their ineptness, a sharp agent managed to spot the assassin, shoot at him, and later capture him.

Still, several questions remain:

  • How did a convicted felon get an illegal AK-47 rifle?
  • How could he get near the golf course and stake it out for 12 hours without notice?
  • How did he know Trump was going to be golfing that day when Trump’s itinerary was changed at the last minute and not made public?

3.) Past Failures

President Trump’s near-fatal assassination attempt wasn’t the only time the Secret Service got caught with their pants down… there have been numerous instances.

For example:

In 2014, a man carrying a concealed weapon shared an elevator with Obama, taking photos of the President and acting straggly. After Obama got out of the elevator, agents questioned the man and discovered he had a gun.

A few days later, a man with a knife climbed over the White House fence and ran inside, missing President Barack Obama and his daughters, who had luckily left the building 15 minutes earlier.

There have also been incidents over the years involving agents getting into bar fights, soliciting prostitutes, and getting drunk while on duty.

4.) An ideologically driven, bloated bureaucracy

So, if it’s not a funding problem, perhaps the problem lies in the growing trend to force more and more DEI policies throughout the Secret Service and other government bureaucracies.

For example, the Secret Service is wasting money in its budget to send agents and personnel to the all-expense-paid “Out and Equal” Workplace Summit at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

According to a leaked agency email, “Any questions regarding this announcement should be directed to the chief, Alternative Employment, DEIA, and Data Analytics” or to the “administrative manager.”

The “Out and Equal Conference” saw many Fortune 500 companies and “government agencies” attend and listed as sponsors many big U.S. companies, including Boeing, The Walt Disney Company, Target, McDonald’s, Morgan Stanley, Apple, Accenture, JPMorganChase, Bank of America, Experian, Dell Technologies, Deloitte and many others.

“Do you believe that?” a disbelieving Rep. Pat Fallon said when he learned about the event.

5.) Time to start over

The near-fatal attempts on Donald Trump’s life should be a wake-up call to Congress and the American public.

The American people deserve a Secret Service that is focused on its primary mission: protecting the President and major candidates from physical threats.

However, when the agency spends millions on DEI conferences and prioritizes political agendas over security, we must ask—are our tax dollars being wisely used?

We must ensure the Secret Service can effectively protect our nation’s leaders without being distracted by woke policies.

It’s time for Congress to demand accountability, eliminate wasteful spending, and prioritize true security over political correctness.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives have proven disastrous for government agencies like the Secret Service and other agencies.

By prioritizing quotas over qualifications, DEI undermines meritocracy and jeopardizes national security in agencies tasked with protecting our leaders.

Such policies sacrifice excellence on the altar of political correctness, eroding trust and efficiency where they are needed most.

I suggest a new agency, with new leadership.

This bureaucracy isn’t working… and won’t work.

Action Steps:

1) Pray for our country.

2) Volunteer, donate (money/time), and vote to replace these radicals in Congress, the Senate, and the Presidency.

3) Order my New Book. I talk about DEI in Chapter 4, Danger #3: The Destructive Triplets: Forcing Social, Business, and Government Compliance to Radically Transform America, of my new book, The Great Deception: 10 Shocking Dangers and the Blueprint for Rescuing the American Dream.

In Chapter 4, I reveal the radical left’s plan to redefine who you are, what you do, and what you value as an American, exposing the forces at play who are pushing for a radical transformation that touches every aspect of society.

Business, government, schools, and social structures are under siege as the radicals impose their will through DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) agendas, which Harris supports and will use to force compliance and conformity on us.

Harris will also expand ESG and DEI programs for our children through schools and colleges, where indoctrination into socialist ideals agendas is on the rise.

These programs are designed to mold young minds and condition them to embrace radical socialist ideologies that challenge the very essence of traditional family values and the American Dream.

In The Great Deception: 10 Shocking Dangers and the Blueprint for Rescuing the American Dream, I uncover the dangers and give you a powerful arsenal to fight back against the radical socialists who want to “fundamentally change America.”

Take a stand and join me in the fight to reclaim control of our country and turn America around.

The Great Deception: 10 Shocking Dangers and the Blueprint for Rescuing the American Dream is your guide to preserving the principles that make America great.
