Google has been the world’s top search engine for over 20 years.
It has about 92% of the global search engine market share.
Google processes 8.5 billion searches daily; that’s 99,000 searches per second and 2 trillion searches annually.
Their ad revenue is over $64.6 billion.
No other search engine comes close.
That’s why it wasn’t surprising that District of Columbia District Court Judge Amit Mehta ruled that Google illegally maintained a monopoly in markets for general search services and general search text advertisements.
“Google paid companies, including Apple, more than $26 billion in 2021 alone to remain Safari’s default search option.” In his decision, “those deals allowed Google to build a monopoly over search and unfairly suppress competition,” wrote Judge Mehta.
I recently appeared on Sentinel Report with Alex Newman about how Judge Mehta’s ruling that Google is a monopoly could be the end of Google’s censorship of conservatives, Christians, and Republicans and their manipulation of elections.
“This can be the death of Google,” I told Alex. “This court case is historic, and Google is sweating because this ruling could impact their ad revenue, costing them billions of dollars… Over 90% of global internet searches go through Google. Remember, this was an Obama-appointed activist judge… So, his decision against Google could be the beginning of the death of Google.”
[Watch my 20-minute interview below and click to 13:36]“Google is ideologically driven,” I said. “Google’s algorithms and AI are programmed to censor anything from conservatives, Christians, and Republicans… that information appears on pages 10, 20, or 30. So most people don’t see conservative views, only lies from the liberal press.”
I also told Alex that people can use other search engines like DuckDuckGo. Also, Elon Musk is creating his own AI/search platform to compete with Google, so there’s good news.
We also talked about the war on free speech and how the European Union is going after Elon Musk and X, and how the French arrested the CEO of Telegram for not censoring “misinformation” on his app.
