Here are 6 things you may have not noticed, but these short items are important:
1. The Government Job Scandal
The FDA and government regulators are a revolving door. For example, Pfizer named Dr. Patrizia Cavazzoni as its executive vice chief medical officer, overseeing the company’s safety and regulations. Until January 18, Cavazzoni had a different job – director of the Food and Administration’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Effectively FDA’s top regulator.
2. China Cyberattacks Skyrockets
CrowdStrike is warning about a massive increase in China-linked cyberattacks and digital espionage in 2024. Senior Vice President Adam Meyers said “the scariest statement that I’ve ever uttered, before Congress or any place else, is that after decades of investment into China’s offensive capabilities, they’re now on par with other world powers.
3. “Low Trust” in Media:
Americans’ trust in the media is at its lowest point in over 50 years.
Gallup polling results: Americans trust in the media is at it’s lowest point in over 50 years.
About two-thirds of Americans in the 1970’s trusted the mass media either “a great deal” or “a fair amount” to report news “fully, accurately and fairly.”
But in 2020 31% of respondents say they trust the media a great deal or a fair amount.
33% say they do “not [trust it] very much” 36% (up from 6% in 1972) say they had no trust at all.
“Low Trust” in Media:
- 88% of Republicans.
- 74% of independents.
- 46% of Democrats.
A Great Deal of Trust:
- 12% of Republicans.
- 27% of independents.
- 54% of Democrats.
Not Much Trust in Media:
- 29% of Republicans.
- 32% of independents.
- 40% of Democrats.
4. Trump Revokes Security Clearances for Jack Smith and Other Left Wing Lawyers and Law Firms
Donald Trump issued an anti-law force executive order. It stripped security clearances for attorneys at Covington & Burling, a Washington law firm tightly connected to Democrats that worked with Special Counsel Jack Smith. One of the other law firms was the Marc Elias firm Hillary Clinton hired for the Russian hoax. This makes it impossible to work on many government court cases. They are going to court to fight it.
5. Women And Abortion And Suicide
Among women with a history of abortion, 35% of them had attempted suicide. However, 13% of women who had successful deliveries with no abortions, miscarriages, or problems within the pregnancies were found to have made suicide attempts.
Mary Szoch, director of Family Research Council’s Center for Human Dignity says “Suicide is never the answer,” and “with God, there is always hope: suffering has meaning. Let’s pray for all mothers who have experienced the loss of any unborn child either through miscarriage or abortion – may they unite their suffering to the Cross and, one day, experience the glory of the Resurrection with Christ.”
6. Frivolous Lawsuits Crush Business – And Make Rip-Off Lawyers Rich
A multitude of crazy laws make it easy for lawyers to misuse the legal system for their own profit.
It destroys business.
This is especially the case with states such as California.
For example, one California law makes sex-based promotions illegal, so things such as “Ladies Night,” Mother’s Day specials or a “Women’s Weekend” are technically illegal.
If a lawyer threatens a lawsuit, they of course might win. But if you pay the lawyer –say $50,000, they will drop the case.
It’s a scam destroying small businesses.
