Here are 6 election things you may not have noticed, but these short items are important:
- DOJ Fights for Election Integrity
The DOJ is filing five new lawsuits to obtain access to voter data maintained by each state.
The new lawsuits – targeting Utah, Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia, and New Jersey – bring the total number of states sued to 30.
Reason: The voter rolls are corrupt with old addresses, duplications, error and illegal voters.
- The First Democrat Presidential Battleground State Poll Surprises Many
Candidates for President of the U.S. are already descending on the first Presidential Primary state, New Hampshire.
It’s too early to trust polling, but the latest New Hampshire poll surprises many:
- 20% Pete Buttigieg
- 15% Rep. Ocasio-Cortez
- 15% Gov. Gavin Newsom
- 10% Kamala Harris

- California Voter Fraud Loophole
California state law gives people experiencing homelessness the flexibility to use any location to register to vote.
As long as unhoused residents can describe the place where they spend most of their time, they can legally list it as their address on their voter registration.
- Meta: Involvement in 2026 Elections?
Meta is donating to candidates, primarily through multiple PACs.
For example, California-based tech giant Meta, has at least four super PACs funded with about $65 million.
One of the key issues is AI regulations.
- Anthropic Super PAC Impacts Election
A super PAC funded by Anthropic, makers of Claude, is spending nearly $700,000 to get the liberal North Carolina congresswoman, who sits on a key AI commission, re-elected.
Rep. Valerie Foushee (D-NC) is targeted for advocating for more government regulation and control of AI which would help protect Anthropic from competition and promote their liberal version of control.
