Here are 5 things you may not have noticed, but these short items are important:

1. First Transgender Priest

A Wisconsin Episcopal cathedral has installed the first trans-identifying dean in the history of The Church.

The Very Rev. Micah Cronin, a woman who identifies as a man took over All Saints’ Cathedral in Milwaukee. The cathedral draws an average of just 70 worshipers on a given Sunday.

2. Socialist Canadian Government: Latest Attack on Christianity – Banning Jesus and More

The Canadian Armed Forces issued a new directive barring chaplains and other military personnel from mentioning God, Jesus or other religion-specific language during mandatory public events. Chaplains “must instead offer a spiritual reflection” when prayers or religious observances are requested at official government events that members are expected or required to attend.

3. Revival in Sweden?

A spiritual revival is making headlines in Sweden.

Sweden is considered one of the most secular nations on earth.

Swedish youth named Jesus “influencer of the year” for 2025.

4. Pentagon Establishing New Religious Affairs Office, Hegseth Announces

Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth has created an Office of Religious Affairs to give military chaplains direct access to senior leadership and to address perceived underfunding of religious support.

The number of Evangelical Christians in America is about the same size today as it was back in 1972. It’s about 20% of the population.

Other religious groups have gotten smaller as “Nones” have grown.

Mainline Protestants are down by at least two-thirds since 1975. They fell from 30% to less than 9%. Catholics have also seen a decline in the last fifteen years. They fell from 27% to 22%.

5. Victory: Trump EEOC Protects Christian Teacher’s Rights

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) facilitated a settlement agreement between Aztec Municipal School District and former American History teacher Jarrell Botello.

The district fired Botello in July 2025 for teaching accurate history and curriculum approved material on immigration and the religious beliefs of the American Founders.

Botello filed a charge of discrimination stating his firing was an example of “anti-teaching profession” since he was a Christian teacher “who taught accurate American history.”

Botello, as a Hispanic teacher, also noted school officials accused him of racism for “accurately describing the current political debate about immigration.”
