Key Takeaways:
- Literally thousands of grassroots organizations across the nation organize, mobilize, train and radicalize people.
- It starts with community organizing and community events.
- The radical Left creates the organizational structure, including databases so they can target their voter registration efforts and their Get-Out-the-Vote campaigns.
- They hide their political agenda by getting funding from nonprofit foundations disguised with nice-sounding names and websites.
- Conservative and Libertarian candidates are overwhelmed by radical Left fundraising and marketing.
It’s cunning.
It’s deceptive.
It’s aggressive.
It’s subversive
Very few Americans know about what the radical Left is doing behind the scenes.
Their end goal is to destroy the individual liberty and freedom that the nation’s founders envisioned.
Their real agenda is to turn the U. S. into a Socialist country controlled by elites of their choosing.
Here are 4 things they are already doing to accomplish their destruction of America as we know it.
- They are creating thousands of political organizations across the U.S.
These groups organize, mobilize & radicalize on a variety of levels.
They go door-to-door and use social media to get people to come to rallies and other community events.
They register voters at these events.
They gather names and addresses at every event so they can create databases of participants and supporters in every city and state.
Using the databases they create, they:
- Reach more people than Republicans and Libertarians
- Raise massive amounts of funds via marketing and ad campaigns
- Organize and motivate people to attend protests
- Target their Get-Out-the-Vote (GOTV) campaigns to their own supporters only
Remember that Barack Obama was community organizer before he ran for public office.
This is how he established name recognition – and how he built support in his state.
- They hide their political agenda by getting funding from 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundations with nice-sounding names.
Registered organizations that engage in political activities are classified by the IRS as 501(c)(4) and are not tax-exempt.
Foundations designated as educational or religious in nature are classified as non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations and ARE tax-exempt.
It’s insidious what the radical Left is doing.
They are benefiting from “passthrough” non-profit foundations with nice-sounding names – which collect tax-exempt donations and then “pass those funds on” to radical Left political organizations.
Most people are unaware of what’s going on.
Here are just a few examples out of hundreds that could be cited:
- Arabella Advisors. If you go to their website, you will read, “Arabella Advisors enables clients across the philanthropic sector to tackle society’s biggest challenges more efficiently, effectively, and equitably.”[i]Sounds great. But this “passthrough” nonprofit moves over $1billion per year into radical Left political causes, and to support far Left political candidates.
- Hopewell Foundation. Their home page introduction sounds so noble: “How often have you felt, when growing up, that a particular student in your class deserves more? That, if he/she had the means and encouragement, he/she would be able to realize his/her full God given potential.”[ii]You are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation and the foundation will “find the deserving candidates.”[iii]
In reality, The Hopewell Fund “primarily exists to sponsor a number of ‘fake’ groups: websites designed to look like standalone nonprofits … [that] typically exist to effect an issue advocacy campaign pushing left-wing policies and may disappear after the campaign is finished.”[iv]
- Defend Our Constitution. This sounds like a national conservative organization. It’s actually an Alaskan group dedicated to defeating Republican legislative initiatives in that state.
One of its primary donors is the Sixteen Thirty Fund – a radical left nonprofit that funds causes such as climate initiatives and efforts to protect abortion rights.[v]
- National Education Association (NEA) and American Federation of Teachers (AFT). You’d think the two largest teachers’ unions would be most committed to supporting teachers and the education they provide. But you’d be mistaken.
A legitimate educational support group called Defending Education recently released an accounting of $43,524,125 donated to left-wing causes by the NEA and AFT in two years — from July 1, 2022, to July 30, 2024.[vi]
Teacher dues to these unions were used to support the agenda of the radical Left.
Defending Education – also called Parents Defending Education – is “a national grassroots organization working to restore schools at all levels from activists imposing harmful agendas” and to “fight indoctrination in classrooms and on campus to promote the re-establishment of a quality, non-political education for all students.”[vii]
- Their fundraising strategy overwhelms conservative and libertarian candidates.
Because of the superior marketing strategies of the radical Left, their organizations are able to raise millions & millions of dollars.
Conservatives & libertarians don’t have money like this.
They don’t have the same connections and relationships with conservative foundations as the radical Left has with left-leaning foundations.
Here are some of the legacy foundations that fund left-wing causes:
- The Ford Foundation
- Freedom Together Foundation
- K. Kellogg Foundation
- William and Flora Hewlett Foundation
- Kresge Foundation
- MacArthur Foundation
- Marguerite Casey Foundation
- Charles Stewart Mott Foundation
- David and Lucille Packard Foundation
- Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
These foundations have combined net assets in excess of $125 billion according to 2023 IRS filings.[viii]
The radical Left starts small by taking over local politics — school boards, electing city leaders, county commissioners, state governments.
Then they move to the national level.
They have the funds to pay people to organize protests – and to bus in protesters from out of town.
The recent Washington, DC protests regarding the National Guard were professionally organized.
- Whoever raises the most money and has the most ad exposure usually wins.
Most voters don’t do their homework – they don’t research the voting history or the political positions of the candidates.
They often vote based on emotion – or based on which name they recognize the most.
Name recognition depends on marketing and ad exposure.
Ad exposure – which costs a large amount of money – is a critical factor in every election cycle.
Action Items:
- If you wish to support a particular political candidate or cause, donate directly to the person or the cause rather than giving money to a nonprofit foundation you are not familiar. Don’t be deceived by a conservative-sounding foundation name.
