California Crazy Political Insider – 5 Things You Should Know About California Politics

Huey ReportUncategorized

Here are 5 important things you should know about California politics:

  1. Tom Steyer: Character, Assertion, Ideology

Billionaire Tom Steyer used his money to attack award-winning climate researcher Roger Pielke Jr.’s research on climate and disaster policy.

His climate change violation was saying, “it’s not the apocalypse.”

So, the Center for American Progress decided to make him a target funded by Tom Steyer.

The group pushes climate hysteria, running articles claiming, “Climate change is fueling more deadly and destructive floods,” “extreme weather is only intensifying,” etc.

WikiLeaks revealed an email to Steyer from ThinkProgress’s editor: “Thanks for your support of this work… it’s fair to say without Climate Progress, Pielke would still be writing on climate change.”

  1. California Crushes Family – Forced Adoption

California government bureaucrats seized a Christian woman’s teenage daughter for opposing her “gender transition.”

It gets worse. Alexandra Lyashchenko lost custody of her then-15-year-old daughter in 2024 after rejecting her “sudden desire to transition.”

Her family was “forced out of California” and is now “hiding in Florida” because California also wanted her younger son.

In 2022, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill, SB 107, that allows California courts to take “emergency jurisdiction” of children who come to the state for “gender transitions.”

Newsom later signed a law that banned schools from requiring parental notification about children’s gender confusion, though the Supreme Court ruled against the law in March 2026.

The state also indoctrinates children into LGBT ideology in public schools, with mandatory pro-LGBT instruction and promotion of LGBT activist groups to schoolchildren.

Several other parents in California have lost their custody rights for not embracing their children’s “gender transition,” including Abigail Martinez, whose gender-confused daughter ultimately killed herself after being taken by the state.

  1. California Tax Supported Corruption Exposed

California is plagued with ideological indoctrination.

Pomona Unified School District in Pomona, California, signed a memorandum of understanding for the 2024-2025 school year for a “mentoring program” with Pomona Valley Pride, an LGBTQ+ center.

The pride center is providing “academic support, mentoring, and tutoring services to all students in middle and high school who identify themselves LGBTQ+ and their families to address their unique needs and challenges.”

The Center for American Liberty, a conservative California think tank, uncovered the partnership through a California Public Records Act request.

The school gave $300,000 in taxpayer money to Pomona Pride Center, Inc. to push LGBTQ programming on children and families.”
