I warned that cyber-attacks have risen by 30% over the past year, with the United States as the primary target. “The assault on our critical infrastructure is rising in numbers and sophistication, placing our nation’s electric grids, oil pipelines, and telecommunications networks at grave risk. It’s not hyperbole,” I said, “but a reality we must prepare for.”
With its sweeping advancements in artificial intelligence, China is one of the most significant threats. FBI Director Christopher Wray emphasized in April that China represents a “broad and unrelenting” threat to our security. Using AI to strengthen its cyberwarfare capabilities, the Chinese military is developing systems that no longer require human input to recognize targets or guide weapons. China’s People’s Liberation Army leverages AI in cyber-attacks and defense systems, making their capabilities more dangerous and unpredictable.
Beyond infrastructure, I warned that Chinese cyber-espionage extends to the private lives of everyday Americans. I explained that “Chinese hackers are not only infiltrating our texts, emails, and social media accounts but are also using these data points to sow division and incite disruption within the United States. This isn’t merely a risk of inconvenience; it’s a calculated strategy to destabilize the country from within.”
“Imagine losing your access to services through a massive outage,” I said. “A Verizon outage cutting off your phone or a Bank of America failure locking you out of your own funds—these things are no longer hypothetical. They are probable outcomes if we continue to ignore the threat of cyber-attacks.”
We are witnessing a modern-day assault where our nation’s lifeline—critical infrastructure—is vulnerable to hostile cyber forces.
It’s so bad that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the FBI are both urgently sounding the alarm: America is under cyberattack.

“Huey urges Americans to prepare practically and spiritually, emphasizing the importance of resilience. He advises individuals to store water, food, and fuel “just in case.” But he also calls for vigilance, citing the biblical warning in Colossians, chapters 1 and 2, against being deceived. Relying on platforms like Facebook or TikTok for news only feeds a false sense of security. There are adversaries committed to undermining our nation, and cyber-attacks are just one of the many tools they use.”
