If you are near or in Washington, D.C., a new, powerful play is being performed at the Ford Theater.
The Ford Theater is the place where President Lincoln was assassinated.
It’s called “Mister Lincoln.”
I saw it this past weekend.
It’s a masterpiece.
It’s a must-see play.
Mister Lincoln is a one-man play for 1 ½ hours. It’s so well done that no one noticed; it was so well done, compelling, and impactful.
Starring Scott Bakula, his performance is not an opinion or distortion of history. It’s primarily Lincoln’s own words and a historically accurate account of Lincoln, from a young man to the assassination.
It’s patriotic, about the freeing of the slaves, and so much more. It runs until October 13th.
