Former President Donald Trump just announced that he will be running for president once again.
Trump launched his third bid for the White House, declaring, “America’s comeback starts right now.”
The election of 2024 will be consequential for the economy, geo-politics, our cultural values, the war on Christianity, and much more.
Conservatives, Republicans and Christians are divided on Trump running for president again.
A significant number are very excited about Trump running. However, only roughly 4 in 10 voters are showing support for him currently.
Some are in favor of Trump for his amazing policy accomplishments including how he was able to push through the economic prosperity that took place and the pace throughout the world because of his strong leadership.
But others think there should be new leaders such as Florida’s, Ron DeSantis.
Others are upset that he allowed COVID lockdowns, the COVID vaccinations, or the federal government overspending. And of course, many are concerned about his rhetoric and statements.
Others are more practical saying like Biden, he’s too old as Trump is 76 years old.
The Democrats want Trump to run and win the nomination because Democrat organizers and party politicians think they can better organize their base of supporters and contributors if Trump was the nominee since they hate him so much.
Indeed, he was one of the major factors for having a massive number of volunteers to get out the vote to give the Democrats victory as they viewed it as fighting against Trump.
America is severely divided.
Independents make up most of the population. Among the voters, 35% are Independents, 33% are Republicans, and 29% are Democrats.
This election will be controversial for both Republicans and Democrats.
