Here are 6 things you may not have noticed, but these short items are important:
- Quebec: Ban Public Prayer?
The government of Quebec is planning to ban prayer in public places “as part of a move to strengthen secularism in the province.”
- Sign of the Times: Nearly Two Million People Demand Leniency for Deadly Illegal Immigrant Truck Driver
Remember the illegal truck driver in Florida that killed Three innocent people with his U-turn?
Well, a petition demanding leniency for Harjinder Singh has garnered over 2.6 million signatures, calling on Ron DeSantis to commute the deadly driver’s sentence if his trial yields a conviction. The signers want the governor to “consider alternative sentencing measures – such as restorative justice, counseling, or community service” rather than locking Singh up for 45 years.
- California Fire Relief Money Went Toward Illegal Immigrant and Anti-White Programs
I’ve discussed the music concert that raised money for California victims.
A new review found that millions of dollars raised to help victims of the California wildfires wound up in the coffers of unrelated nonprofits.
Some of the groups even explicitly exclude white people from their services, while others advertise programs for illegal immigrants.
The fundraising organization FireAid, for example, raked in roughly $100 million through performances by Lady Gaga, Dr. Dre, Stevie Wonder, and others.
They gave to groups like the Greenline Housing foundation, which notes on its website that whites need not apply for grants. Other FireAid beneficiaries like My Tribe Rise and the Black Freedom Fund express similar sentiments.
- Geoffrey Hinton
Geoffrey Hinton, the pioneering computer scientist called the “Godfather of AI,” has issued the starkest warning yet that the very technology he helped bring to life could spell the end of humanity as we know it.
- Former Washington Post “Fact-Checker” – He ‘Screwed Up’ on COVID-19 Lab Leak Theory
Glenn Kessler wrote a controversial 2020 fact check headline calling coronavirus lab leak theory ‘doubtful.’
He conceded that he was “completely wrong” to label the COVID-19 lab leak theory “doubtful” in 2020.
A Health and Human Services report says therapy, not body mutilation, should treat gender dysphoria.
The report is basic common sense about gender dysphoria.
Confused young people that are lied to and misled need to work through their issues instead of accepting, embracing and building their lives around a mental/emotional disease.
- California Unemployment Rate Worst in the Nation
Governor Newsom policies have made California #1 again – for unemployment in the U.S.
California’s unemployment rate increased again in July. California unemployment is 5.5%, which is higher than that of any other state.
The national average is 4.2%. Worse, July’s report also had a downward-revised job loss of 9.500 for June.
Newsom has forced companies out of State with high taxes, crime, bad schools, bad roads and California was just declared #1 also for government regulations – also chasing out companies.
Those companies’ staffs don’t grow and create new jobs as they could in Tennessee, Florida or Texas – less jobs.
Where is California growing? California did gain 83,800 jobs in the last 12 months primarily driven by education and health services and government.
